Earlier this summer a friend shared her lost sole find with me, and it appears that the little fellow’s been benched. 

In Awe...

A friend recently shared with me her lone shoe find from the lone star state. I have to say, an awning was not a place I’d ever expected to add to the list of locations for a lost sole. you just never know where one will present itself; hence, I’m in AWE of the flip flop on the awning. 

On the Road Again

Looks like this lost sole may have logged quite a few miles already and is once more on the road again. I do hope he finds his "sole mate"

 This farm flop is in a field all his own. Wonder what the "hay" happened here?

Although aiming for Target and ending up near the store, this lost sole's landing missed the mark.

A friend texted me pictures of a cork wedge she found in a mulch bed on the side of the road. What a cute shoe! Where’s the mate? Will we ever be able to “uncork” what really happened here?

Here's Cleatis! He's lacing up for the big game today; unfortunately, he's missing his other half, so it looks like he's not going to be making any of the winning goals. He'll be sitting this one out!

Skech and his Ironic Resting Place

 I can't help but take notice of Skech's final resting place: across the street from a billboard advertising shopping with none other than a lone shoe as the promotor. Ironic? I do believe so!

Still There

One afternoon I went to over to my sister's house for a visit. As I exited off 485 and merged onto Idlewild Road, I spotted a small brown shoe in the middle turn lane of the busy 4 lane road. I knew instantly it was child's shoe because of its size. Of course, I pulled over and snapped some pictures. He's one of the shoes that I included in my last post "Fall Finds", but I felt he was worth mentioning again. 

Since the initial spotting of the shoe, I have been to see my sister 4 more times. It's been 6 weeks and the little guy is still there sitting in the same spot. Now, every time I take the exit and make my way toward my sister's house, I look for him.

How long will he last? Will he make it through the winter? 

I'll be curious to see!
