A friend texted me pictures of a cork wedge she found in a mulch bed on the side of the road. What a cute shoe! Where’s the mate? Will we ever be able to “uncork” what really happened here?

While on a walk recently, I noticed a lone sneaker in a ditch. He was surrounded by leaves and debris. Apparently, he'd been "ditched."
